Jonathan Geiger is a Senior Consultant with Cutter Consortium's Business Intelligence Practice. He has more than 25 years of management and hands-on experience in information management, including data warehousing, customer relationship management (CRM), quality assurance, data administration, application development and support, productivity management, and training. He was also a leader in total quality management activities at a major electric utility company.
Mr. Geiger has helped companies in the manufacturing, paper and pulp, chemical, financial, retail, telecommunications, transportation, utilities, software development, education, energy, and insurance industries with their data warehousing and CRM efforts. His duties have included readiness assessments, program and project management, facilitation, business requirements analysis, architecture design, quality assurance, and data modeling.
In addition to his consulting work, Mr. Geiger presents frequently at national and international conferences. In 2001, he coauthored Building the Customer-Centric Enterprise: Using Data Warehousing for Customer Relationship Management with Claudia Imhoff and Lisa Loftis, which is designed to help companies better understand their customers and develop the required organization and culture and technology infrastructure to foster mutually beneficial long-lasting relationships. In 1997, he coauthored Data Stores, Data Warehousing and the Zachman Framework: Managing Enterprise Knowledge with Bill Inmon and John Zachman. He has also written more than 30 articles for publications such as DM Review, Strategic Systems, IS Audit and Control Journal, e-Business Advisor, and The Data Warehousing Institute Journal.
